At the conclusion of the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus tells his followers: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Mt. 28:19). Baptism is the first sacrament. Through it, we become children of God with the promise of eternal life, and are offered a share in the redemptive sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

 

The Sacrament of Baptism takes place in:

St Anthony's Church on the last two Saturdays of the month at 11.00 am

St MacNissi's Church on the last two Sundays of the month at 11.30 am

 

Please note attendance at our pre-baptism course is required.

This course is available in St Anthony's Hall every 1st Monday of the month at 7 pm.

 

Registration for the date of Baptism takes place during this meeting, as well as discussion on what happens in the sacrament. Please bring the long version of the baptismal certificate with you.
